The largest metropolitan area of the Voivodeship is the port city of Szczecin, located on both the Baltic Sea and the Odra river near the Polish-German border. Lying at the crossroads of important transport routes in Europe, it facilitates the meetings of people from the farthest corners of the world. The different cultures meet here creating a unique atmosphere of the meetings. Szczecin conference facilities and rooms in hotels are well equipped to handle both small groups and teams of several hundred. New developments such as Performance and Sports Hall or the new Philharmonic, provide opportunities for large conferences.


Miedzyzdroje is a fashionable seaside town that attracts with the beautiful landscape, healing microclimate and summer cultural events. Because of excellent hotel facilities, including a luxury hotel Baltic Amber causes the numerous international meetings are hosted here.


Kolobrzeg is both the port and the spa town. There are eleven, all seasons hotels, including two luxury of five star and four-star hotels four, having excellent meeting facilities and spa.


The West Pomerania attracts tourists with its landscape, climate and tourist attractions. Although it is lowland region, it is rich also in views – considered by the experts to be the most beautiful in Europe.


pomorze_zachodnie_miedzyzdrojeIn good weather from the hill Zielonka located on Wolin Island one can see the lakes, forests, grasslands, and event the delta of Świna river dotted with 40 green islands. Another stunning panorama awaits on the top of Gosań mountain near Międzyzdroje, after reaching the top one can see the highest cliffs on the Baltic Sea (to 93 feet high) and a piece of shimmering Baltic Sea. It is worth tiring.


The Baltic Sea resort (and there are dozens of them from giants like Kolobrzeg, to little ones like Gąski) tempt with rich variety of activities. Traditional shanties can be heard on Windmill Festival in Swinoujscie, on the Salt Water in Mrzeżyno and on the Wave in Kolobrzeg. There Days of the Sea, Neptunalia are organised and in 2013 Szczecin will host the Tall Ships' Race – the international rally of sailing ships.


On the Wolin island there is the most famous in Poland Viking Festival is held, during which the Scandinavian warriors meet, trade and beat the Slavs. While men are in duels, women sit in the kitchen. Crimp the dough into flatbreads and give warriors more beer and kvass (there is no gender equality during the festival).


Zachodniopomorskie is not only the coast, but also the land of lakes. West Pomerania Lake Area is a great place for water sports enthusiasts and cyclists. Drawsko, the largest lake, is explored by divers (especially since few treasures from the Second World War were found there), and the Drawieński National Park passes as one of the most beautiful and more exciting canoe routes in Poland: Drawa canoeing trip.
